Founded in 1994, capacitors are the foundation of Motif Electric Limited. Over three decades, we have built deep expertise in capacitor technology and established ourselves among the recognised names in India's dry-type capacitor segment.
In 2007, we expanded into Switchgear, adding starters, control panels and low-voltage protection and control solutions to our portfolio. Over the years, we strengthened our quality standards through certifications and compliances including ISI 1709, ISI 2993, ISI 13340, RoHS and CE.
A major milestone came in 2021 with backward integration into MPP film manufacturing, when we started our own MPP film production in Jammu, giving us greater control over material quality, consistency and capacitor performance.
Today, our manufacturing ecosystem is supported by 200+ skilled manpower, dedicated R&D and testing facilities, and integrated manufacturing capabilities. Our technical infrastructure includes an in-house software design and microcontroller development facility, PCB design capabilities, powder coating facility, and a dedicated Design & Development Team for Switchgear and Control Gear. Our testing laboratory supports testing requirements as per IS 60974, along with product-specific quality and performance testing.
Our Badli, Delhi facility brings together capacitor manufacturing, switchgear and panel assembly, R&D, software and electronics development, PCB design, testing, powder coating, quality assurance, packing and dispatch, creating an integrated manufacturing ecosystem focused on quality, innovation, reliability and continuous improvement.
